A workflow step where a designated person must explicitly accept an AI-proposed action before it executes.
Used for consequential actions: payments, deletions, customer communications. Design for reversal (audit who approved what, when, with what payload) and measure override rates - a gate agents always override is friction, not safety. See the approval workflow pattern.
